JONES SPEAKS AT CSF
The Base Pair/SOAR Program, the Hypertension Education and Treatment (HEAT) Partnership and the American Heart Association (AHA) will host the 2007 Community Science Forum, “The Heart of the Matter,” a free community-oriented presentation, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, in the Norman C. Nelson Student Union. Dr. Dan Jones, UMC vice chancellor for health affairs and president of the AHA, will deliver the keynote address, “Matters of the Heart.” Wade Overstreet, director of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation, Maggie Wade, WLBT-TV coanchor, and Kimberly Morgan, Miss Mississippi 2007, also will speak.
