You may want to have a dentist look at the area to make sure the tooth is not fractured below the bone. If the tooth is in its normal position it should tighten.
Trauma to a tooth will sometimes cause the nerve inside the tooth to die. This can lead to an abcess and require a root canal. A dentist can monitor this over time to look for any signs of pulpal injury.
